Timbuktu

Timbuktu was identified on October 26, 2003 at Manta Heaven and was about 4-6 feet across.

At that time we considered him to be a grown-up male due to the size of his claspers along with being seen in courtship behavior with larger females. He has been known to bask in the “bubble bath” from the divers while waiting for plankton to form. Timbuktu frequents snorkelers and divers. He is not shy and often comes close.
